decades. We have been fortunate to place textiles, and
collections of textiles, in major museums and institutions
throughout the world.
However, a great passion of the company is to seduce new collectors,
hence offering affordable tempters. The
priority in selection is always visual, supported at all levels
by thorough research.

We have added a short glossary to
the website and also a brief list of books. We consider
these books useful but also a good read, no manuals for
knot counters.
As
you have probably noticed, that despite good intentions,
we are hardly ever current with the website. If you do not
see what you are looking for here, do ask. If we do not
have it in stock, if its textile, beautiful, and rare, we
have over 25 years experience in knowing where things are.

The New catalogue " Abstract Asian Textiles" the second volume of " Seed and Spirit of Modernism" is published on 29th September 2009. The first volume having been a great success both in book sales and as academic research. The new catalogue illustrates Abstract Asian Textiles, linking colour theory with esoteric developments at the latter end of the 19th century and first quarter of 20th century. Exploring the large influence Asian philosophies had on Modernist thought.
